Evolution of Digital Cameras

Evolution of Digital Cameras

When we think about the digital camera revolution that has occurred over the last decade, most people consider it superior in terms of benefits. You can shoot a lot with a much lower cost with digital cameras versus film. You can also easily retrieve and distribute the photographs because they are digital and can be uploaded directly to the social sharing sites and personal blogs.

After comparison with film cameras, digital cameras can do things such as competitors can not:

• Displaying images on the screen immediately after they are recorded
• Save thousands of photos on a single small memory device
• Record video with sound and
• Deleting images to free storage space.

Some can be cut out pictures and perform other image editing SD. Optical system work just like in film cameras, typically using a lens with the aperture to focus light onto the image pickup device. Diaphragm and shutter declare the correct amount of light to the imager, the same as with film but the image pickup device is electronic rather than chemical. The digital camera is integrated into many devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones to vehicles.
